 John Ruddock - Jigadier GeneralJohn is a musician, songwriter and music leader. He has performed at festivals, in pubs and on street corners as a solo musician and in various ensembles since his teens. His passion is for participatory music and as such he spends much of his time leading singing groups for children, working with charities aimed at increasing access to music and playing in folk sessions. Now she plays with several bands at the crossover of folk with other genres, including Guerrilla Ceilidh and Okina, and loves to explore music around the world. Lauren organises Ethno England, an international folk music exchange for young musicians.

He is a stalwart of the Carnival Band, a long-time Maddy Prior collaborator, and was a founding member of Bellowhead. |  Donal 'Jigs Boson' HillDonal is a particle physicist by day and string-wielding folk musician by night. He’s been in Oxford since 2011 and started playing with Guerrilla Ceilidh in 2016, bringing a mix of fiddle, banjo and guitar to the band. Donal plays regularly in and around Oxford at folk sessions and open mics, and also records and performs with his fiancee Mie as part of their duo Accord de Voix. |  Mano Panforreteiro - O CapitanMano works in music and in the theatre as a composer, musician and actor. He is based in Oxford but is originally from Galicia. Mano finds it as fascinating to overcome barriers between disciplines as to remove frontiers between cultures. This concept of artistic work led him to be one of the musicians in Kibitka, Chachouka and Xogara, and to form duos with the Belorussian accordionist Vadim Yukhnevich and the Belgian saxophonist Anne Gennen. |

 Steph 'Stephtenant Commander' WestA harper, caller, singer and composer, Steph has a love of dancing rhythms, vivid chords and a free flowing melody. You may hear her performing solo, playing in a variety of bands and projects, from the British Paraorchestra to Emily and the Tunesmiths. Steph also teaches harp and traditional music, and is involved with the Irish and English folk and harp communities in the south east of England. She helps run youth folk arts project Shooting Roots, which is 21 this year. |  'Tombone' GreenTom is a trombonist, composer and arranger who has a background in jazz and enjoys bringing some brassy basslines to the ceilidh circuit.  Gill 'Drill Sergent' Emerson |  Pete Truin - Captain ShantyA lifelong sailor, Captain Shanty has been on, in and around the sea since his earliest days… He is an accomplished singer and mutli-instrumentalist with experience of performing in a wide variety of musical styles, including regular appearances at home and abroad with the shanty group The Ballina Whalers. The Captain calls for country dances in many ports far and wide, and has a broad knowledge of aural traditions, particularly jazz, world and folk music.
